Programme details:
Assisi Community Care at Francis House provides non-institutionalised residential care and rehabilitation within a confidential and holistic community. We have been assisting men with their recovery from alcohol addiction in a residential setting for over 25 years. At Francis House we sensitively encourage residents to challenge themselves in a safe, supportive, non-confrontational environment. Our philosophy of care is person centred and we understand that people need to go at their own pace on their road to recovery. Each person has a personalised package of care which is tailored to their individual needs and motivation in recovery. We have briefly outlined below what our rehabilitation programme provides:

o Psychological and psychosocial care and treatment

o Support and treatment for access to pharmacological care for adults

o Participation in group sessions

o Individual Counselling

o Activities Programme including art classes, essential skills, physical exercise, horticulture, music room and library.

o Spiritual needs are met on an individual and inclusive basis. We have an onsite chapel mainly used for private prayer and meditation.

We operate an abstinence based model and we are set in seven acres of grounds with gardens and lakes where our resident’s quality of life can improve in a facility that is both peaceful and therapeutic for recovery.
